The National Fuel Funds Network
Founded in 1984, the National Fuel Funds Network has more than 300 members in 42 states. It promotes development of charitable energy assistance programs (fuel funds) and national awareness of energy assistance needs. NFFN is also a strong advocate for increased LIHEAP funding.
The National Low Income Energy Consortium
The National Low Income Energy Consortium was founded in 1986 to foster coordinated solutions to low-income energy and utility hardships. It is a coalition representing all segments of the low-income energy community. The NLIEC promotes innovative advancements that foster the most effective and efficient low-income energy programs throughout the nation; strengthens an ever-growing national network of over 3,000 public and private organizations with low-income energy interests and solutions; fosters dialogue that will educate and inform members, policy makers and the public at large regarding energy and utility hardships.
