Sponsorships
The National Fuel Funds Network and National Low Income Energy Consortium offer partnership opportunities to those seeking to make a difference in the lives of low-income households. We rely upon the financial contributions of our partners and also upon donations of in-kind support. We also offer donors the opportunity to direct their resources to specific interests and provide recognition for their support. Contributors to the National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference have a range of recognition options. A downloadable summary of sponsorship opportunities is available here.
Those interested in supporting our work through an in-kind contribution, a financial contribution or both should contact our organizations’ respective executive directors:
- George Coling, National Fuel Funds Network, phone 202-824-0660, coling@nationalfuelfunds.org
- David Fox, National Low Income Energy Consortium, phone 703-642-9070, dfox@nliec.org
Exhibitor Opportunities
The National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference affords companies and other entities an opportunity to bring their message to a huge, targeted audience representing the energy industry, government and the nonprofit sector. Our conferences typically draw 550-650 attendees, but an even larger number of participants is expected in 2012. Exhibiting at NEUAC 2012 will provide you with access to innovators and decision makers working to solve the national energy affordability crisis.
Conferees will come to New Orleans eager to learn of new approaches and resources to assist them in their mission of relieving the energy burdens of low-income households. NEUAC is attended by professionals from federal, state and local government agencies, Tribes, utilities and nonprofit organizations from across the nation. They have a keen interest in products and services that will help their clients reduce their energy usage and manage energy bills. Some of these professionals will also be seeking information and services to help them build stronger nonprofit organizations, train staff and boards, improve communications, raise funds, manage donors and enhance their community profiles.
We truly appreciate our exhibitors because we know the value you bring to our industry. At this conference, we place exhibits as close to the action as possible to ensure maximum exposure to every attendee. As an exhibitor, you are also a participant in the conference's educational and social activities.
Each exhibitor at NEUAC 2012 will receive one free registration including admittance to all workshops, receptions and luncheons. This is a unique opportunity to reach a large audience with interests in your products and services. Our attendees are seeking solutions to challenges that range from service delivery to professional development, from conservation products and weatherization services to consumer information and technology.
Plans call for our exhibit space to be located outside the ballroom where meal functions and general sessions are held. The fee for exhibit space is $1,350. The exhibitor registration fee includes one 10’ wide by 5’ deep booth space, one 6-foot skirted table with one chair and conference registration for one person. It also includes admittance to all official conference activities and meals. Additional representatives must register as attendees.
For 2012, we again are offering a messaging opportunity that was well received in past years: Exhibitors may have copies of fliers or brochures inserted in our conference registration bags for an additional $150 fee.
Exhibit Set Up and Tear Down -- Setup begins 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10 and must be complete by 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 11. Note: Although you may begin setup at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, neither the hotel nor the conference will provide security dedicated to the exhibit area so please do not leave valuables at your exhibit booth. Your exhibitor space must be dismantled by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13. Exhibitors may not dismantle displays during conference hours. Opportunities to dismantle will immediately follow the close of the conference at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13.
Exhibit Hours -- Monday and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Advertising Opportunities
We will also continue to offer a program that was well received in 2011. In lieu of distributing a paper exhibitor booklet to attendees, we will have a large-screen monitor in the registration area that will run a continuously cycling PowerPoint presentation containing sponsor names and logos, exhibitor names and one-page advertisements promoting exhibitors, local restaurants and tourist attractions. The fee for advertising messages will be $150 per screen page.
At no additional charge, we will also run PowerPoint presentations containing the exhibitor location map, the names and corporate logos of conference sponsors and the same one-page advertising messages shown on the registration-area monitor in each workshop and general session room prior to the start of each session.
